How To Draw Shopkins – Let’s Get Started!
Step 1
During this guide on how to draw Shopkins, we will depict a little cupcake character. However, this is only one possibility; you could take what you learn in this guide to design many other product characters of your own later. First, we choice draw the ‘body’ of this cupcake.
To do this, use a curved line with tapered sides to form a rounded square. Then we’ll use some wavy lines on top of this shape for the frosting that sits on top of the cupcake. The top of this frosting will be blank for now, but we’ll fill it in soon. Then draw some thin round shapes from the sides for this Shopkin’s little arms.
Step 2
To continue with this Shopkins drawing, we will draw the face and some other details in this second step. For the eyes, draw two relatively large circles inside the body of the cupcake. Then draw some smaller circle shapes inside these eye contours and add some lashes around the outside.
Then you can use some small, simple lines for the nose, eyebrows, and mouth. Then draw two little stubby legs from the bottom of the Shopkin and draw little bows on them. He will also hold a small cane that has an apple on end. Finish off by drawing curved lines inside the frosting and then add a rounded triangle shape sticking out along with another bow.
Step 3
For this third step of our guide on how to draw Shopkins, we’ll add a little more icing on top. Draw some more curved lines for the frosting side. They should move inward as you draw, making the frosting stack thinner as you go up. Then add a few more wavy lines inside for some textural detail. . We can then move on to step 4 of the guide to continue adding to this image.
Step 4
You are now ready to finish the outline of this Shopkins drawing as you complete the outline. To do this, we’ll focus primarily on the top of the frosting on the cupcake. Use some curved lines for the sides, and once again, make them thinner as you go toward the tip.
The tip of the frosting will be pointed but slightly rounded. Then add more of those wavy texture lines in this final area of the frosting. Now that you’ve finished outlining this Shopkins drawing, you’re ready for some finishing touches in the next step of the guide.
step 5
Before we get to the final step of this guide on how to draw Shopkins, we’ll first put some finishing touches to bring this image to life. To do this, we will draw some fun shapes around the icing of this cupcake. These cupcakes will take a few different shapes. We used some small circle and rectangle shapes for these sprinkles, but you could also use some other shapes of your own!
There are also other ways to add to this image. You can add some background details, add a few extra touches, or even change the design to create a new Shopkins design! How will you finish this design before the final step?
Step 6
In this final step of this Shopkins drawing, we show you one of the endless ways you can color your creation. In our example, we used a bit of yellow for the Shopkins body with blue for the frosting. We then worked on some roses for some of the decorations and accessories for this Shopkins.
You can also choose these colors if you like them, but you can also use single colors of your choice! Another fun idea would be to incorporate crafts like beads and little stickers to make this image stand out.
